Acton Bubble

From 128, take Route 2 west through Concord to the traffic circle near the prison. Get off at Route 2A/119. Follow 2A/119 until the light at Route 27. Take a right onto Route 27. Follow Route 27 for about 2-3 miles. Look for the sign “Nashoba Sportsman’s Association” on your left. Turn left into the driveway into the parking lot. The clay courts are on your left as you enter the parking lot.

All Seasons (Acton)

From 128, take Route 2 west through Concord to the traffic circle near the prison. Get off at Route 2A/119. Follow 2A/119 until the light at Route 27. Take a right onto Route 27. Follow Route 27 for about 1 mile. Take the second left onto Quarry Road (right after the first left). Take the first left off of Quarry Road onto Granite Road. You will see the club up the street just past the house. The outdoor courts will be on the right hand side.

Brae Burn Country Club

From Boston:  Take Mass Pike to exit 16.  Bear right on ramp following signs for Route 16.  Stay on 16 for about a mile until you intersect Route 30 (Commonwealth Ave.).  Take a left.  Brae Burn is about ˝ mile down on the right.

From West of 128:  Take Mass Pike east to the Route 128/30 exit.  Follow signs for Route 30.  Take Route 30 eastbound (Commonwealth Ave).  Travel about 3 miles, Brae Burn is on your right about ˝ mile after you cross over Route 16.

From the North:  128 to the Route 30 exit (this will be just after the Mass Pike exit).   Take a right at the end of the ramp onto Route 30 east (Commonwealth Ave).  Travel about 3 miles, Brae Burn is on your right about ˝ mile after you cross over Route 16.

From the South:  128 to the Route 16 east exit.  Stay on Route 16 about 1 ˝ miles till you come to the junction of Route 30 (Commonwealth Ave), take a right onto Route 30.  Brae Burn is on your right about ˝ mile.

Concord Country Club

From the east, take Route 2 west from 128 through Lincoln into Concord. Keep following Route 2 until the 2nd light after the 126 (Walden Pond) exit. This is Old Road to Nine Acre Corner (ORNAC). Emerson Hospital will be seen on the left as you go west on Route 2. Take a left off Route 2 onto ORNAC. Go straight past the hospital about ˝ mile. The entrance to Concord CC is on the right. The sign is on a rock. Take the driveway to the end. Courts will be seen on the right.

Dedham Country & Polo Club

From the south, take route 128 North from the Braintree split. After passing the route I-95 exit, proceed along route 128 until you reach the Westwood sign, take Exit 16B West towards Westwood (follow the ramp on to Rte 109).   You go back over the highway.  Take the first right, onto Grove Street which becomes Country Club Road (no traffic light, no stop sign). The club is about 1/2 to 1 mile down, on the left.   It has both indoor and outdoor clay tennis courts.

Dedham Tennis Club

From route 128, take the route 135 exit (exit 17) toward Dedham. After approximately one mile, turn right on Glenridge Road. The club will be on your left. If you reach route 109 or Dedham Center, you have gone too far.

Heritage Pool and Racquet

Heritage Pool and Racquet is located in Concord. Directions and a map can be viewed from their website.

Hingham Tennis Club

At Braintree take Rte 3 South to Exit 14, Rte 228, Hingham/Rockland,.  Go left at end of Exit towards Hingham.  Follow 228 for Approx. 4 miles until you come to intersection where you have to go across or to the left or right.  Directly in front of you will be a big yellow house. Across has a Stop Sign, to the right a Yield Sign.  Across is Central Street to the right is 228 continued.  Go across onto Central Street.  If you come to Congregational Church and Fire Station you missed intersection.

To Tennis Club follow Central Street to center of Town go across first blinking light to next intersection (100 feet) where you have to go left or right.  Go left - Talbots is on your left at this intersection.  Go past Abe Lincoln Statue keeping it on your right.  Follow until you see Thaxter Street which is first Road on right after Abe Lincoln. A Church sits on the corner of Thaxter St. on your right.

Follow Thaxter St. 1/2 mile.  Tennis Club is at the next Left which is Bradley Woods, a development entrance with an island at the entrance.  Stay left when you enter the development.  You will see the club and courts on the left.  Thaxter Street will run into Rte 3A.  If you come to 3A you have gone to far.

Lakewood (Newton)

Directions to Manchester Road

South on 128 – Exit 21a – “Waban, West Newton”. Bear Right – up to Route 16 East  - Turn Right - (You will be going over 128) (.3 Mile). At lights turn right – Beacon Street (2.2 miles). Turn right - Walnut Street. (Mobil Gas Stations on both corners) (.2 mile). Turn Right onto Fisher Ave. (.1 mile). Turn Left onto Manchester Road. Tennis courts will be .1 mile on the right.

North on 128  Exit 21 Route 16 – Turn right at lights – Beacon St and follow directions from above.

Lexington (Town Courts at Clarke Middle School)

Directions from route 128: Take exit 30A, route 2A East, Marrett Rd. Go about 1.6 miles. Right at stoplight on Waltham St.  Go about 0.3 miles. Left at light on Brookside Ave to end.

Lincoln (Town Courts)

From 128: Take route 2 west. At the first light, go beyond the light and take a right so you can go across route 2 (you cannot take a left here). Tracey’s gas station is on the left as you go west on 2. Follow this road through Lincoln center. Keep going until you see a sign for Lincoln schools on your right about a mile from the center. Go into the driveway to the school, the courts are on your left.

Longfellow Tennis Club

From 128, take Route 20 west. Go past Wayland center and up the hill. As you start going down the hill on the other side, there will be a small office park on the right hand side. The sign will list the companies and Longfellow Tennis Club. Go into the office park -- Longfellow will be on the left hand side.

NOTE: The Longfellow C team will be playing their home matches at Wayland High School. Directions to Wayland High School -- from the east, go west on route 20 until you hit the light in Wayland center (junction with routes 126 & 27). Take a left (south) and go about 1/2 mile. Wayland High School is on the right hand side. From the west, take route 20 east until the junction with 126 & 27 in Wayland center. Go right (south) at the light to Wayland High School about 1/2 mile on right.

Milton

Take route 128 to route 28 north (Randolph Avenue). Go to the third set of lights (about 2 miles).  Stay straight on Randolph Ave. At the next traffic light go straight. Take 2nd left into Milton Academy's maintenance yard. Milton Academy's boy's tennis courts are over a rise, next to the track and football stadium.

Needham Pool & Racquet Club

Take route 128 north and exit onto route #135 towards Needham. Go almost 2 miles, to Needham Square. At the traffic light, route #135 veers to the left. Stay on route #135. Go 1.0 mile more on route #135, beyond Needham Square. Turn left at the traffic light, onto Central avenue. Go 1.0 mile on Central Avenue and turn right at the entrance to the club, marked by a small sign with “NPRC” in blue lettering. You will have passed the town dump after about 0.5 miles on Central.

Needham Tennis Club

Take route 3 north to 128 north. Exit onto route 135 toward Needham (north and west).  Just prior to entering the downtown area of Needham, take a right onto Webster Street (a traffic light). Take a left onto Kingsbury Street (less than a mile traveled on Webster street).  The Needham Tennis Club is on the right, about 1/4 of a mile down the street (located near the Needham High School). The Club consists of 4 Har-Tru courts, arranged two by two.

Newton

Newton Center clay courts are in Newton Center off Center Street.  From the Turnpike, take Centre Street South.  Continue past Commonwealth Ave. and the courts are 1/3 of a mile from Comm. Ave on the right.  Park on Tyler Terrace.  From Route 9, take Centre Street North.  Continue past Beacon Street.  The courts are 1/3 of a mile from Beacon Street on the left.  Park on Tyler Terrace.

President's Golf Club

President's Golf Club (formerly known as Wollaston Golf Club) is located in the Squantum section of Quincy. Directions with map can be found at their website.

Quincy

Take Route 128 south to the Quincy Center exit. Continue straight, following the flow of traffic. This is the Burgin Park Extension (MBTA tracks are on the right). At the fifth set of lights, bear left continuing on Burgin Park Extension. Go past the second set of lights (MBTA parking garage is on the right). Take 1st left after 2nd set of lights. This is Glendale Avenue. Go past the stop sign. Count 3 houses on the right side of the street. Look for a small granite stone (QTC) at the end of the driveway between the 3rd and 4th house. It is real easy to go past it, so count the houses after the stop sign.

South Shore YMCA - Mill Pond

The South Shore YMCA - Mill Pond is in Hanover. Directions can be found at their website. Be sure to find the Mill Pond branch.

Sudbury River Tennis Club

From 128: (note, it is better to take Route 9 at rush hour than the MASS Pike, but Route 9 is no picnic, either).  take Route 9 west for about 5.5 miles; go past Shoppers World in Framingham; shortly thereafter you will go under the Rt 126 overpass.   Continue straight on Rt. 9 through the next traffic light (Walgreens is on the right) and shortly thereafter bear right up the ramp to turn right (north) onto Edgell Road.  Go 4 tenths of a mile on Edgell Road to the entrance for the Sudbury River Tennis Club, which will be on your right at 201 Edgell Road.  (You will pass Central Street on the right after 3 tenths of a mile... veer left.  The club parking lot entrance is the next right hand turn.  You will see the courts, and the green Clubhouse building).

Alternatively take the Mass Pike to Exit 13, which is Route 30; stay to the right after coming out of the toll booth, merging onto Route 30 west; take Route 30 west (past the shopping malls) for about 1.5 miles where it will merge into Route 9 West.  Once on Route nine west at this point you will go over a hill and your next traffic light will be the one listed above with the Walgreen's on your right.)

From the north: get to Route 20, e.g. via Route 126 or Sudbury Road if from the northeast. Follow Route 20 west through Sudbury just past the shopping center with Sudbury Farms on your left (which is right at the Sudbury Road intersection). The next left is Nobscot Road south which later becomes Edgell Road. Take Nobscot/Edgell Road for several miles, through a traffic light.  After that, you will know you are close when you go under the Mass Pike overpass.  The entrance to the Sudbury River club parking lot will be on your left just about 3 tenths of a mile after you go under the Mass Pike.  If you get to Central Street on your left, you have gone 1 tenth of a mile past the entrance.

From the west you can obviously take the Mass Pike to exit 13, or Route 20 or Route 9 to Edgell Road.

Thoreau Club

The Thoreau Club is located in West Concord. Directions can be found from their website.

Wayland

Wayland plays at the Wayland High School courts. Directions to Wayland High School -- from the east, go west on route 20 until you hit the light in Wayland center (junction with routes 126 & 27). Take a left (south) and go about 1/2 mile. Wayland High School is on the right hand side. From the west, take route 20 east until the junction with 126 & 27 in Wayland center. Go right (south) at the light to Wayland High School about 1/2 mile on right.

Wedgewood

Note:  There is no sign or street number at Wedgewood (legally 85 Page Road) The club driveway is in the fork of Page and Brooksbie Roads.  There is a red barn in the driveway. Directions are at the club's web site: http://www.thewedgewoodclub.org/index.htm or you can use the directions below.

From the West

Follow any of routes 62, 4 or 225 into Bedford Center. Go through lights in center, and two more lights (third lights at CVS).  Staying on route 62, turn left at top of hill onto Brooksbie Road.  At approximately .4 miles, the road curves sharply right onto Page Road.  The club driveway is directly in front of you. (Busy intersection: be cautious of oncoming traffic.) 

From Rte 3 (N or S)

Follow 62 towards Bedford. Rte 62 sweeps to the right at an intersection with a large island. Page Place Condominiums are on the right and then you will pass three houses. The driveway to the club is on the right immediately in the fork of the road where Rte 62 bears left.

From 95/128

Take exit 31B (routes 4/225) to Bedford.  Go through  three lights (third light at shopping center - Stop & Shop, Staples). At top of hill, turn right onto Brooksbie Road/Route 62. At approximately .4 miles, the road curves sharply right onto Page Road.  The club driveway is directly in front of you. (Busy intersection: be cautious of oncoming traffic.)

Wellesley Country Club

Wellesley Tennis Association (W. T. A.)

W. T. A. is playing on the Wellesley Hunnewell town courts again this year.

Directions to Hunnewell Courts (Washington Street) - Take Route 16 west (Washington St.) exit off of Route 128. It is the exit between the Route 9 and Mass Pike exits. Stay on Route 16 for 2+ miles. You'll go through Lower Falls and Wellesley Hills, then you'll see some athletic fields and tennis courts on your left. These are the Hunnewell town courts. If you come to a Star/Shaws on your left, you've gone too far.

Westford

Outdoor: Westford Swim and Tennis, 978-692-3491

From I-495 South, take Exit 32 - Boston Road and make a left at the bottom of the exit ramp.  From I-495 North, take Exit 32 and make a right at the bottom of the exit ramp.  You will come to a stop light - Mobile on your left, On the Run on your right. Get in the right hand lane and make a right turn on to Rt 110 - Littleton Road.  Proceed forward for .7 miles and it will be on your left hand side.  Pull into the parking lot.  The pool will be on your immediate right.  Go forward to the back parking lot and you will see the tennis courts.

Alternatively, you can get to Rt. 110 from the east via Route 2 to 2A. Just after the Littleton line, take the right turn for the Nashoba ski area. Keep following this road; it will merge into Route 110. The Westford club will be on the right about ˝ mile after the merge onto Route 110.

Wightman

From 128: Exit 24(?) Route 30 west approx. 3 to 4 miles to traffic light (Wellesley Street), turn left, then first right onto Brown Street (opposite Weston Middle School sign, right before turnpike underpass), go straight through stop sign, turn left into parking lot (100 Brown Street).

Winchester

Take 128 north to exit 33 Route 3 to Winchester. Follow that road straight (east). You will go by Herb Chambers Honda and Olsen Cadillac, also the 99 restaurant on your left. Continue until you go by Mahoney’s Rocky Ledge Nursery. Take the next left, Wildwood Street. Follow that street; it bears to the right until you come to a four way stop sign. Take a left and the courts are almost immediately on the right. A detailed map is provided here.

Windsor Club

The Windsor Club is at 1601 Beacon Street in Waban (Newton), 1/2 block east of Waban Center. From route 128, take exit 21, route 16 going east toward Boston. At the first light, take a right onto Beacon Street for approximately 1.5 miles, through Waban Center, then take a left immediately after Waban Center. If parking is full, turn left out of the Windsor Club parking lot and park in the lot behind Waban Market.
