B 2010 Schedule

Welcome to the 2010 season! The day of play is Tuesday, starting May 4. We have the same number of teams as last year but with a somewhat different mix. Dedham C&P dropped out of B South but Lincoln, a finalist in the C last year, moved up to B causing some juggling of teams in the sections. Lexington moved back to Central and Newton moves to South. The South and West will again have seven teams each and the Central six teams. Like last year, there will be Intersectionals such that each team will have seven matches with no byes.

The South Shore YMCA will be playing all their matches away since their courts are under a bubble that does not come down until the middle of June. Likewise, Arlington (now called Vagabonds) plays all matches away as they do not have a home court. Windsor in Newton and Dedham TC in Dedham again are joining forces to field a team. They are sharing home matches. The club in parenthesis (Windsor or Dedham TC) in the schedule below will be the home club for that match.

There will be three weeks of playoffs again this year so that all the first and second place finishers in each section make the playoffs as well as two of the three third place teams that make it as wild cards. This is the same format as last year and it seemed to work out well. There will be one open week before playoffs start to provide time for makeups.
